About
Background:
Subsequent to securing my law license in 1973 and practicing in Chicago law firms, I established Thomas E. Rosensteel & Associates, Ltd. in 1981, a boutique law firm with its primary concentration in the areas of estate planning, real estate, corporate and general business law. Prior to my becoming inactive, the Firm maintained offices in Chicago and St. Charles, Illinois.
Through its affiliates, particularly in Chicago, the Firm provided its clients with exceptional representation in diverse practice areas, including civil litigation and bankruptcy.
The Firm defined success as achieving the intended legal result in the most timely and cost-effective manner, with personalized service which addressed the demands of each client with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and service.
Since its establishment in 1981, the Firm maintained the highest rating given to law firms by Martindale Hubble, Inc. This “AV” rating signifies the highest level of achievement in legal ability, adherence to ethical standards, professional reliability and diligence, as determined by confidential reports from attorneys and judges in the Firm’s areas of practice.
My experience as an instructor includes the legal writing courses I taught at IIT Chicago Kent College of Law, the Business Law courses taught at Elgin Community College and numerous classes taught at several Chicago elementary schools.
In 1997, my family and I founded The Renaissance Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation and family-grown initiative created in the spirit of providing underprivileged children with access to assistance and opportunities not otherwise available to them.
Since its inception, the contributions made by The Renaissance Foundation have touched the lives of numerous children, including those who have suffered from abuse or neglect; those whose families have sacrificed to serve our country; and those who are homeless or otherwise in need of fundamental assistance.
